Dr K Srinath Reddy (Founder, Past President and Honorary Distinguished Professor of the Public Health Foundation of India) delivers a lecture on the topic “The role of public institutions in shaping policies and supporting communities in achieving their rights regarding health” as part of the 25th anniversary conference of Centre for Budget and Policy Studies. In this lecture, Dr Reddy speaks on the importance of the health sector in development and the role of public institutions in generating and converging knowledge from multiple disciplines to support the idea of health as a human right.
